Ashok Leyland Vehicles Costs More!
India's second largest commercial vehicle maker, Ashok Leyland has announced that it has increased its prices of medium and heavy trucks by 3%. This decision was taken by the company to cope up with the rising cost of raw materials.
The price changes are put into effect immediately. This means customers have to bear an additional 20,000 rupees to as high as 50,000 rupees.
Indian Auto Industry is witnessing robust growth but it is not free of troubles either. Recently, rubber prices have been raised and car manufacturers too have increased their car prices to almost 4 times in this year so far,and now in July, list of new prices is expected to be revealed by car manufacturers owing to the raising costs of steel and rubber.
