A Tough Ride For The Nano

Audi has joined the long list of nay sayers to the Nano. The company recently expressed doubts about the Nano"s ability to face safety and emission standards in the American and European market. Tata recently unveiled the Nano Europa and was received with rave reviews.

Audi openly stated its skepticism about Nano"s market in Europe, Germany specifically. According to him, the Nano would not face the safety standards, emission norms and fuel efficiency expectations of this market. In India the Nano is expected from March 23 and Tata plans to introduce it in 2011 with additional safety features satisfying Euro V norms.
