Long Flights To be More Comfortable

The idea behind the work is of Emil jacob, a financial analyst who also runs Jacob-Innovations LLC. His own experience of bad sleep in long flights had motivated him for the invention. Emil feels that even if it isn't possible to extend the horizontal space in a plane, going vertical might just do the trick for passengers.
In retrospection, Emil some how is thankful for those long-unpleasant flights he have had. But he is thankful now, for it just motivated him to come with such an invention. "I got the idea for the new designs from my own lack of sleep on long flights," News.com.au quoted him, as saying.
So, what else will the new invention need to make those long-unpleasant flights comfortable? The novel designs involve elevating alternate rows of seats to give passengers more room to lean back in economy class, and the space to lie down in business class, in what Jacob sees as a move that will benefit both travellers and airlines.
He explains: "Passengers and airlines will both win from using the new designs" which he says "will make new space available on planes. Passengers will have more space in each of the various models and airlines will be able to offer better accommodations at better prices."
So, are the experts really convinced with the master-mind's idea? Airbus's communications manager, Mary Anne Greczyn, acknowledged the designer's effort saying, " This is the kind of out-of-the-box thinking Airbus really likes to encourage."
