Why There Are Only Few electric Cars In India?
When many people neglect Reva owing to its small space, the Reva Electric Car Company (RECC) just announced a plan to build its second manufacturing unit. RECC also plans to develop a larger sedan that will comfortably seat four, compared to its zippy but tiny current model.
The second reason to abandon Reva was its mileage. Even after a few hours charging Reva provided only 80 kilometers per charge. The good news is that the new Reva L-ion will have a range of 120 kilometers compared to the current model's 80 kilometers per charge.
The common misconception about Reva is that it is a light weight car. With a solid frame and heavy doors, Reva's bulky body comforts just as much as it small interior constrains. There is no need to worry about the light weight handling in Reva.
Many people also wonder about the upfront price of this small electric car. Then, think again! This car will save you a lot of money with regard to the fuel in comparison to the other cars.
The environmentalists in India have already turning their heads towards Reva. Now, with their new accommodating design, many people may want to own some. Let us wait for the new revolutionized look of electric cars.
