Car Of The Year: Ford Fiesta

The Ford Fiesta has bagged two awards at a top motor awards. It received the 'Car of the Year' award and was named Best Supermini by What Car magazine.

'Best family car' and the 'Best Estate' went to Ford, while Volkswagen won three awards at the do in London's Grosvenor House Hotel, including readers' choice for the Golf GTI

The Sun quoted editor Steve Fowler as saying: "The Fiesta is the right car at the right time, small in size, but big on ability." Ford Europe chairman John Fleming said: "This is tremendous news."AGENCIES
