Vintage Model Ford Car To Travel In Railway lines
A distinctive car-train is created using a vintage Model T Ford car to travel on a railway line, by the Launceston Steam Railway in Cornwall, England.

The new vehicle has power engine that can reach up to 60mph. The self-powered locomotive does not required any steering, but the car-train can only seat four passengers. However it is regarded as the Launceston Steam Railway, where is currently in operation, until New Year's Day.

The car originally arrived at the workshop at the railway station to have modified brakes fitted, as said by Nigel Bowman, the Managing Director of Launceston Steam Railway. We thought featuring an iconic road car running on railway wheels would be a quirky way of celebrating our 25th anniversary this year," the Telegraph quoted him as saying.

The Ford Motor company built its fortunes on the back of the Model T car"s creation on September 27, 1908, at the Piquette Plant in Detroit, Michigan. It is credited to put 'America on wheel' and the first affordable model. Ford has also been named the 'world's most influential car of twentieth century' by a poll conducted nine years ago. AGENCIES
