HSCIL Launches "Third Generation Honda City"

Unveiling the car, Company vice-president (Marketing) Jnaneswar Sen said the all new Honda City has been designed for Indian market and claimed that it would be the "most stunning car" on Indian roads.
Mr Sen said as safety of passengers and pedestrians was the first priority for Honda, the new Honda City was loaded with various active and passive safety measures.
"Honda City is one of the most successful car brands in the country and the most desirable sedan in its category. On every parameter design, performance, fuel efficiency, comfort and safety- the new City will leave all competition far behind," he observed.
Mr Sen informed that the car having two grades-1.5E (MT) and 1.5S (MT and AT), was available in six colours and the prices (ex showroom Kolkata) were Rs 7,86,000, Rs 8,36,000 and Rs 9,06,000 respectively.
He said the new variant featured an advanced integrated audio system, the world's first car audio exclusive to digital media.
"This advanced audio system offers the liberty to integrate with any of the newer technologies like iPOD, MP3 player, USB Memory and cell phone with MP3 player," Mr Sen said.
Though bookings of the car have started at all Honda dealers nationwide, deliveries would begin from nest month, he added.
