Minda Industries Launches 4-Wheeler Battery
The 4-wheeler battery, manufactured at the company's Pantnagar facility, is targeted at the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) as well as the after-sales market.
The company already has Request for Quotation (RFQ) from Maruti and Tata Motors for these batteries and it hopes to begin the commercial supply soon to the OEMs, it said in a statement.
The company's battery brand Vroom 36 comes in two capacities of 32 Ah and 35 Ah in the price range of Rs 3,280 and Rs 3,620, respectively, while Vroom 24 is available in four different capacities-- 32 Ah at Rs 2,840, 35 Ah for Rs 3,150, 50 Ah for Rs 4,700 and the highest capacity 60 Ah is available at Rs 4,895.
