Daimler Launches Intercity Luxury Coach!
The new luxury coaches, being assembled in Pune, have chassis from Mercedes-benz, while the bus body will be built by Jalandhar- based Sutlej Motors, the company said today.
Initially, the company has three dealers on three routes including Bangalore, Pune and Mumbai and later on the dealership will be extended to the other parts of the county, Harald Landmann, Head of the Dailmer Buses, said.
"Our footprint in the commercial vehicles segment now widens with the introduction of these buses and further we shall start with pre-select routes in western and southern India and look forward to expand out network significantly in times ahead," Mr Landmann added.
