World's first lavender scented car tyre

Kumho Tyres Australia is now targeting women Down Under with the tyre.
Marketing manager David Basha said women were the obvious market for the Aroma Technology tyres, reports The Courier Mail.
"So when you park your car in the garage overnight it smells quite nice," he said. Though mainly lavender, the perfume also has hints of mint, iris and white musk, and can be smelt within 10m of the vehicle.
Mr Basha added that the tyres carried about a 20 per cent price premium. With sales not expected to be more than 6000 per annum, he is expecting the tyres to be a niche product.
There are no plans however, to make them lavender in colour as well as smell. "There are no plans to make them lavender in colour as well, but I wouldn't put it past the technicians," he added.
The company says the Aroma tyre's scent will last for about one year of average use.
