When Classic Legends called us to ride the new Yezdi Adventure, we packed our bags and headed straight to Pune. But, the heavens had opened their floodgates as we arrived at Pro Dirt. The dry off-road track was now a muddy playground, a fun but treacherous obstacle course begging to be conquered. We were here to test the new Yezdi Adventure, and the conditions couldn't have been more perfect to push it to its limits.

Yezdi has been making waves in the adventure motorcycle segment, and the new Adventure is a testament to their commitment to building capable and exciting bikes. Building on the success of its predecessor, the latest Adventure boasts a refined engine, improved chassis, and a host of enhancements, at a starting price of Rs. 2.09 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom).

Design and Styling

The Yezdi Adventure is an interesting mix. It's tough as nails, but it's also got a classy side. That new metal cage around the engine makes it look really strong, and it's not just for show; it helps keep the bike safe. Plus, the way the exhaust pipe runs through the middle is a cool touch that keeps things from getting too hot.

You know those classic adventure bikes with the tall windshields and upright riding position? Yeah, the Yezdi fits right in. But they've spiced things up with some modern colors. It's a bike that says, "I'm ready for anything," without being too loud about it.

Specs and Dimensions

At the heart of the Adventure lies its newly developed Alpha-2 engine. This liquid-cooled, single-cylinder powerhouse is engineered to deliver improved performance, efficiency, and refinement. The engine's internal components have been meticulously tuned to enhance power delivery, reduce vibrations, and optimize fuel consumption.

Powered by a new liquid-cooled engine, the Yezdi Adventure promises a blend of power and refinement. The 334cc motor, delivering 30.2 PS and 29.9 Nm of torque, seems well-suited for both on and off-road adventures. The 220mm ground clearance is a standout figure, hinting at the bike's off-road capabilities.

Yezdi Adventure Off Roading

The 15.5-liter fuel tank should offer decent range for touring, and the claimed weight of 188kg suggests it won't be a chore to maneuver. The suspension setup, with telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear, promises a balance between comfort and control.

The Adventure's chassis now features a revamped main frame. This structural upgrade not only contributes to the bike's rugged appearance but also enhances its rigidity and handling characteristics. The new frame, combined with the optimized geometry, provides a more confident and planted feel, both on and off-road.

To protect the vital engine components from damage caused by rocks, logs, or other obstacles, the Yezdi Adventure comes equipped with a new sump guard. This sturdy component provides added peace of mind when tackling challenging terrains, allowing riders to explore with confidence.

A notable change is the adoption of a central exhaust system. This design choice offers several advantages. Firstly, it contributes to better weight distribution, improving the bike's handling dynamics. Secondly, it optimizes ground clearance, enhancing off-road capabilities. Lastly, the central exhaust system enhances the Adventure's aggressive character.

Riding Impressions

Straddling the Yezdi Adventure is like stepping into a familiar, yet upgraded world. The seat height felt comfortable for my 6'1 frame, and the ergonomics encouraged an upright, commanding position.

The engine comes alive with a throaty growl, and the vibrations are surprisingly muted for a single-cylinder. Power delivery is linear, with a strong mid-range that makes overtaking a breeze. The six-speed gearbox is slick and precise, and the assist and slip clutch is a boon in traffic and off-road situations.

Yezdi Adventure Tracking

On the highway, the Adventure is stable and composed. Wind buffeting is manageable, and the suspension soaks up imperfections with aplomb. The engine cruises effortlessly at highway speeds, and overtaking requires a quick twist of the throttle.

Where the Yezdi Adventure truly shines is on the beaten path. The 220mm ground clearance is a game-changer, allowing you to tackle obstacles with confidence. The suspension, with its long travel, absorbs impacts with ease, and the bike remains planted even in challenging terrain.
