2017 Tokyo Motor Show: All-New Suzuki Swish Revealed
Suzuki has revealed the all-new 125cc Swish scooter at the 2017 Tokyo.
Japanese two-wheeler giant Suzuki has revealed the all-new 125cc Swish scooter at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show. The previous version of the Suzuki Swish was discontinued in India earlier this year, when the new BS-IV emission norms came into effect.

The new Suzuki Swish is worlds apart from the scooter that was sold in India and features an aggressive new design reminiscent of Honda's Dio scooter. The new scooter features a large angular LED headlamp on the front apron along with LED daytime running lights. The only section of the front array that are not LED units are the indicators.

The instrument cluster of the new Swish is an LCD unit. The front apron also plays host a USB charging socket and the fuel filler cap and the fuel tank sits under the floorboard which frees up more space under the seat.

The new Swish sits on 10-inch alloy wheels and the front wheel plays host to a disc brake. The rear end of the bike features a wide plastic grab handle (similar to the Yamaha Ray) and brake light is a LED unit.

The new Suzuki Swish is powered by a 125cc single-cylinder engine which comes with Suzuki's SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance) technology. The engine is expected to be the same one that powers the Access and the Lets scooters currently on sale in India.

DriveSpark Thinks!
The new Suzuki Swish is an aggressive new take on what was earlier a scooter with a boring run-of-the-mill scooter. If Suzuki does bring the new Swish to India, we expect it to do rather well thanks to its aggressive new design which should help it appeal to a younger audience.
