2017 Tokyo Motor Show: New Kawasaki Ninja 250 Revealed
Kawasaki Ninja 250 unveiled at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show.
Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Kawasaki has revealed the 2018 Ninja 250 at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show. The fully faired quarter-litre motorcycle cosmetic and mechanical updates. Kawasaki has also unveiled the new Ninja 400 with a host of changes.
The 2018 Kawasaki Ninja 250 gets a newly designed front end with a sharp nose with sleek twin headlamp setup. The fairing design is sharp and edgy and gives the motorcycle a new look.
The 2018 Ninja 250 features a redesigned fairing which improves the aerodynamics of the motorcycle. The fairing features integrated turn indicators, silver accents and the sliders has been moved down as opposed to the previous model.
It was expected that the 2018 Ninja 250 would be equipped with the upside down front forks, but the sports motorcycle retains the conventional telescopic forks. The tail section has been slightly redesigned and features a bigger cowl and a newly designed tail light.

The 2018 Kawasaki Ninja 250 draws power from a 249cc parallel twin-cylinder, engine producing 38.4bhp AND 23.5Nm of peak torque. The engine is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. The new model produces 6bhp more power than the previous model.
The kerb weight of the 2018 Ninja 250 stands at 167kg and is lighter than the previous-generation models, so we expect it to be quicker. Kawasaki is yet to reveal the performance figures of the motorcycle.

The 2018 Ninja 250 features a new front end which gives the motorcycle a new look. There are no mechanical changes bu the 249cc engine now produces more power output as opposed to the current-gen model. With the quarter-litre segment becoming popular in India, we expect Kawasaki to introduce the motorcycle in India in 2018.
