2016 Paris Motor Show: Topless Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta Hypercar Unveiled
Italian supercar maker Ferrari has taken the wraps off LaFerrari Aperta hypercar at the 2016 Paris Moor Show. The LaFerrari Aperta is the topless version of Ferrari's flagship hypercar the LaFerrari.
The Aperta was made for Ferrari's 70th anniversary celebrations and only 200 will ever be manufactured and if you want one, you're too late as all have been sold out.
The Aperta uses the same hybrid combo of a mid-mounted 6.3-litre V12 engine along with KERS system as the coupe. The hybrid powerplant produces 950bhp and 900Nm of torque.
Performance figures, too remain the same. The Aperta will sprint to 100km/h in less than three seconds and will top out when the speedo needle goes past 350km/h.
The LaFerrari Aperta is available with two roof options a temporary fabric roof and a removable carbon-fibre hard top. To prevent buffeting at speed, the Aperta is fitted with a sophisticated wind stop system.
