2017 New York Auto Show: Nissan Rogue Trail Warrior Concept Revealed — A Real 'Track' Weapon
2017 New York Auto Show: Nissan Rogue Trail Warrior Revealed. The Trail Warrior swaps the regular Rogue's wheeels for tank tracks.
Japanese carmaker Nissan has revealed yet another special version of its Rogue SUV after messing around with Star Wars themes last year. The Nissan Rogue Trail Warrior concept revealed at the 2017 New York Auto Show is a crazy off-road focused version of the compact SUV.
The Nissan Rogue Trail Warrior concept takes the SUV's off-road ability to a whole new level by swapping the vehicle's tyres with 48-inch long, 30-inch high and 15-inch wide tracks, that would usually be seen on a military vehicle.
Nissan has also modified the suspension setup and the wheel wells of the Rogue to accommodate the tracks.
Other add-ons include an ARB Gear Basket roof rack accentuated by a LED light bar, a Warn 4K winch and flared wheel arches. Adding to the military theme is the pixelated wrap and the yellow-tinted windows and lights.
One thing that hasn't changed from the original car is the engine. The 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine produces 169bhp and 237Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a CVT gearbox.
