2017 New York Auto Show: Massive Lincoln Navigator Revealed — The Perfect Rapper Repmobile?
The huge Lincoln Navigator has debuted at the 2017 New York Auto Show. The new Navigator will take on the Cadillac Escalade.
American carmaker Lincoln has revealed the all-new Navigator SUV at the 2017 New York Auto Show. The new Lincoln Navigator was first seen in concept form at last year's New York Auto Show.
Powering the new Lincoln Navigator is Ford's 3.5-litre twin-turbocharged V6 that produces 350hp and 678Nm of torque which is sent to the wheels through a 10-speed automatic gearbox.
The new Lincoln Navigator is an imposing SUV with a sculpted front end featuring a chrome grille with a large Lincoln badge adorning the centre.
The Navigator sits on a set of rather large chromed out alloy wheels. At the back, the one piece tail light wraps around the width of the massive SUV.
Inside, the Navigator sports three rows of seats which are upholstered in French leather. The front seats can be adjusted 30 different way giving those sitting in them the ultimate control over their seating position. Behind the rear seats sits an adjustable shelf which allows owners to customise the boot space.
The Navigator comes jam-packed with features including the large, configurable 12-inch display behind the steering wheel.
The 10-inch infotainment system supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and is connected to a 20-speaker Revel Ultimate sound system.
The rear seat entertainment system adds two adjustable 10-inch monitors for those at the back.
Other features include in-car 4G hotspot, a 360-degree camera, Heads-up Display (optional), wireless phone charger, six USB ports, four 12-volt power outlets and an 110-volt plug.
The Navigator will go on sale in the fall of 2017 and will compete with the likes of Cadillac Escalade for the many thousand dollar bills from those who prefer to speak in rhymes and love their bling-bling.
