2016 EICMA Motorcycle Show: Yamaha's T7 Concept Is The Right Kind Of Crazy
Yamaha stole the limelight with this beautiful Rally concept called the T7 Tenere concept.
Yamaha has unveiled its new concept rally motorcycle at Eicma 2016 - the T7, and it looks like a Sci-fi movie prop.
Inspired from the iconic XT660Z Tenere, and borrowing the chassis from MT-07, the T7 is powered by a specially developed version of the MT-07's 689cc, parallel-twin engine.
The concept is built for extreme off-road capabilities, which is why the T7 is developed by the Official Yamaha rally team.
Details on the T7 concept include an all-aluminium fuel tank, Akrapovič exhaust, four LED-projector headlight, a fairing and skid plate, and a KYB front suspension.
The T7 certainly looks like a motorcycle with a lot of off-road capabilities.
We'll have to wait for 2 more years to see what the production version will look like.
The T7 is Yamaha's idea of an ideal adventure motorcycle.
The T7 is expected to play a key role in the development of Yamaha's next generation adventure motorcycles.
Here's the new Yamaha T7 in action.
