India-bound Yamaha MT-03 (300cc) Unveiled At EICMA — Images

Yamaha unveils the all-new MT-03 motorcycle at EICMA*. The MT-03 is a naked version of the YZF-R3. Europe and U.S. are expected to receive this naked street fighter first while other countries will receive the model subsequently.

The MT-03 will share the engine and frame that is used by the YZF-R3 motorcycle. Several other components will also be shared such as the swingarm, wheels, brakes, shock absorbers, instrument console, and much more.

Powering the MT-03 is a 321cc, inline two-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. Regarding performance, the engine produces 41.43bhp and 29.6Nm of torque. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox and ABS will be offered as standard.

Yamaha has priced the MT-03 naked street fighter at 4,490 Pounds (Rs. 4.5 lakh), and we expect this naked street fighter to make an appearance at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo.
