Mercedes Teases Limited Edition Maybach Cabriolet — Drop Top Perfection Set To Debut in L.A.
Second Maybach-badged Mercedes-Benz S-Class to debut at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show.
German carmaker Mercedes-Benz is teasing the latest addition to its Maybach branded S-Class lineup for the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show.
The new Mercedes-Maybach is a cabriolet and will bear the S650 badge, placing it above the previous Maybach, the S600 Maybach in the S-Class lineup.
The new Mercedes-Maybach S650 Cabriolet is set to be limited to a very small production run of just 300 cars as evidenced by the badge '1 of 300' on the centre console.
The new S650 Maybach cabriolet will feature unique exterior and interior styling compared to the S-Class cabriolets, as well as extra equipment.
Powering the new Mercedes-Maybach S650 Cabriolet is Merc's tried and tested 6.0-litre twin-turbo V12 that is expected to push out around 600+ bhp.
Prices for the new S650 Cabriolet have not been revealed but expect it to command a hefty premium over the S600 Maybach's considerable price thanks to its drop top nature and limited production numbers.
