Chinese carmaker Techrules has revealed its Ren hybrid hypercar at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show.

The Techrules Ren is available in three configurations, with two, four, and six electric motors, and a patented diesel-fueled turbine (TREV) charging system and produces as much as 1,287bhp and a range of up to 2,000 kilometres.

The top-spec Ren uses six motors - two in the front and four in the rear that kick out 1,287bhp and 2,340Nm of torque. The monstrous power and torque allow the Ren to sprint from 0-100km/h in just 2.5 seconds and onward to a top speed of 320km/h.

If the massive power output is a bit too much for you, Techrules has two more variants of the Ren which produce 858bhp and 1,560Nm of torque in the four-motor variant and 429bhp and 780Nm of torque.

Powering the motors are three are three battery packs, with capacities of 14 kWh, 25 kWh and 32 kWh. The battery packs recharge up to 80 percent in under 15 minutes, using a fast charger.

The Techrules uses a diesel turbine engine which converts fuel into electrical energy and extends the range of the battery pack in its most frugal version to 2,000 kilometres.
