2017 Geneva Motor Show: Fittipaldi EF7 Vision Gran Turismo By Pininfarina Revealed
2017 Geneva Motor Show: Fittipaldi EF7 Vision Gran Turismo. The Pininfarina Fittipaldi EF7 is a 600bhp V8 trackday car.
Mahindra owned Italian design house Pininfarina has unveiled the Fittipaldi EF7 Vision Gran Turismo concept at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show.

The Fittipaldi EF7 is the brainchild of former two-time F1 champion Emerson Fittipaldi, Pininfarina and German race engineering firm HWA.

Powering the all-new Fittipaldi EF7 by Pininfarina is a 4.6-litre naturally aspirated flat crank V8 that produces 592bhp @9,000rpm.
HWA developed the engine, chassis, suspension and will produce the Fittipaldi EF7 at their factory in Afalterbach. The six-speed manual gearbox is a Hewland unit.

The Fittipaldi EF7 features double wishbone suspension with inboard mounted coil-over shocks on all four corners with the fronts actuated by pull-rods and the rears by push-rods. The two-piece carbon fibre tub exceeds safety standards set by the FIA.

The Fittipaldi EF7 Vision Gran Turismo's eye-catching design and aerodynamics are the work of Pininfarina who also built up the brand identity for Fittipaldi Motors, something the Italian firm had never done before.

The Fittipaldi EF7 took two years to move from an idea into an actual car, though Pininfarina only started designing the car six months ago.

A production run of around 25 cars bearing the name of the legendary Brazilian Formula One and Indycar driver are set to enter production, however; the carbon fibre supercar will debut on the Grant Turismo 4 game for Playstation 4.
