2017 Geneva Motor Show: Bentley EXP 12 Speed 6e Concept Revealed
Bentley has revealed the all-electric EXP 12 Speed 6e Concept at the Geneva motor Show, to hint at the future of Bentley’s EV path.
The Bentley EXP 12 Speed 6e Concept makes its official debut at the ongoing Geneva Motor Show, an all-electric vehicle to showcase the future EV from of Bentley. The carmaker could also use the platform to get feedback from customers about an upcoming electric luxury car.

The Bentley EXP 12 Speed 6e Concept is based on the EXP 10 Speed 6 concept that was showcased at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The EXP 12 Speed 6e Concept, however, is a convertible and is more performance oriented, with an electric range of 310 miles (499km).

On the design front, the Bentley EXP 12 Speed 6e Concept is similar to the EXP 10 Speed Concept, with a large front grille and sculpted doors and bonnet. The headlight design is also similar, and the concept uses cameras instead of rear-view mirrors.

The interior boasts typical Bentley luxury standards, with a high-resolution display in the centre of the dash. The steering wheel looks like it's off an old plane, but wrapped in leather. The top half is cut off to provide better visibility of the instrument cluster.

Placed on top of the steering wheel on either side are two buttons, one for providing an extra performance boost and the other to limit the vehicle's power. The Bentley EXP 12 Speed 6e Concept's power figures are unknown but is expected to use the same electric mill as the Porsche Mission-E.

The Porsche Mission E uses a 592bhp electric motor and an all-wheel-drive system that helps the car reach 0 - 60 mph in 3.5 seconds. The Bentley EXP 12 Speed 6e Concept, however, can be expected to a bit more composed.

The ongoing Geneva Motor Show is a very important stage for carmakers, and one of the most anticipated cars to make a debut at the show was Tata Motors' latest car, the Tamo Racemo pictured in the image gallery below.
