Ssangyong SIV-2 Concept Showcased At Geneva Motor Show
Ssangyong Motors was present at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show with several interesting products. The SIV-2 Concept was showcased by Ssangyong at the motor show. 'SIV' stands for Smart Interface Vehicle and is a midsize premium SUV concept.
Powering the SIV-2 Concept is a mild hybrid system from Ssangyong Motors. A 1.5-litre petrol engine with direct injection and turbocharger will be paired with an electric motor coupled with a 500Wh lithium-ion battery. Ssangyong is focussing on developing a future ready model for masses.
The design philosophy for the SIV-2 represents Ssangyong's 'Nature Born 3 Motion'. A similar design concept was showcased with the XIV concept series by the Korean-based automobile manufacturer. The SIV-2 Concept showcases Ssangyong's vehicle design for future models.
Interior of SIV-2 Concept is futuristic and revolutionary. Ssangyong designers have focussed on making the interiors as spacious as possible. Colours have been carefully selected to create the illusion of a roomy cabin. Several touchscreen panels have been fixed across the dashboard.
The SIV-2 Concept by Ssangyong is aimed to impress the younger SUV buyers in the market. At the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, Ssangyong also unveiled its all-new Tivoli XLV model, which is expected to go on sale in the European market soon.
