The concept vehicle by Skoda Auto has a wheelbase of 2.79 metres. Skoda VisionS will utilise Volkswagen's MQB platform. VisionS Concept is 4.70 metres long, 1.91 metres wide, and 1.68 metres tall. The vehicle will have three rows of seating space with adequate boot space.

Under the hood of VisionS Concept is a 1.4-litre petrol engine and two electric motors. In total, the electric and petrol engine produce a healthy 222bhp and the vehicle is mated to a 6-speed DSG transmission. The concept car can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds and achieves a top speed of 200 km/h.

The Czech automobile manufacturer is most likely to christen its VisionS Concept as the 'Kodiaq'. Skoda will be introducing an all-new SUV model in the international market by late-2016 or early-2017. The 'Kodiaq' will borrow several design cues from the VisionS concept model.

Skoda Auto could bring its new models to the Indian market as well to expand its portfolio. The Czech manufacturer recently announced that it will be launching three new models in India every year. Stay tuned for more updates and new launches from Skoda in the Indian as well as in international markets.
