2016 Detroit Auto Show: Mercedes Launches S63 AMG Cabriolet Edition 130
Mercedes has launched the S63 AMG Cabriolet Edition 130 at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show. The Edition 130 marks 130 years since Karl Benz invented his Patent-Motorwagen in 1886, the first petrol powered car in the world. Only 130 of these cars will ever be produced.
The S63 AMG Cabriolet Edition 130 is powered by a 5.5-litre bi-turbo V8 which produces 577bhp and 900Nm of torque. 0 – 100 takes just 3.9 seconds and the top speed is electronically limited to 250km/h.
The Edition 130 features Alubeam silver paint, matte black alloys, brake calipers that are painted red as well as a red fabric roof. The interior is mostly fitted with red and black nappa leather or in grey and black with the trim in piano lacquer and also features numerous badges marking it out as a special edition car.
Prices for the S63 AMG Cabriolet Edition 130 start at €226,457.
