Yamaha MT-09 Lands In India Looking For A Street Fight With Triumph

Yamaha has launched the MT-09 Streetfighter in india wth the help of Bollywood actor and Yamaha brand ambassador John Abraham. The MT-09 is priced at Rs. 10.20 lakh, ex-showroom (Delhi).

The Engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission that sends the power to the rear wheel through a chain drive. The bike weighs 188 kilograms and has a 14-litre fuel tank.

Suspension & Brakes

The MT-09 features telescopic forks up front with 137mm travel and the rear is a link-type monoshock suspension with 130mm travel.

The front wheel is stopped using a 298mm twin hydraulic discs while the rear makes do with a 245mm hydraulic disc brake. Both wheels are 17 inches in diameter.

Design
