For 2016, Toyota has decided to overhaul the Innova with a premium and upmarket aura. The all-new 2016 Innova will be making its Indian debut at the 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi. Toyota's new Innova is one of the most anticipated launches, however, launch details have not been confirmed yet.
Under the hood will be an all-new 2.4-litre diesel engine. Customers will have the choice of choosing between a 6-speed automatic or a 5-speed manual gearbox. The new diesel engine will produce 147bhp and 342.25Nm of peak torque with the manual gearbox.
Both, interiors and exterior design of the Innova will be updated for 2016. The cabin will witness maximum change and will lean towards a more premium offering. The exterior design of the Toyota Innova is expected to be sporty yet elegant, a tough combination to get right.
The base variant of current generation Innova costs Rs. 10.48 lakh and top-end model costs Rs. 16.01 lakh ex-showroom (Mumbai). Expect the 2016 Innova to be priced significantly higher than the outgoing model. We believe the Innova will maintain its popularity even with a price hike.
