Auto Expo: Mercedes AMG W04 F1 Car On Display
Mercedes is showing off the W04 F1 race car that was driven by Lewis Hamilton in the 2013 season of Formula One, which was also the last season that F1 came to India.

The W04 is powered by a 2.4-litre V8 that pushes out about 830bhp with the help of the KERS system. The W04 is also the last of the F1 cars that Mercedes produced in the V8 era of F1.
The chassis is a moulded carbon fibre composite monocoque incorporating front and side impact structures. While the front suspension is of the Pushrod variety while the rear features pullrod suspension.
The W04 helped Mercedes AMG Petronas claim second spot in the 2013 F1 Constructors Championship.
