Hero Dare 125 Production Ready Scooter To Debut At Auto Expo
Hero MotoCorp has so far not revealed its entire portfolio that will be showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi. There is a high possibility of the Indian manufacturer showcasing the production-ready version of the Dare 125 scooter.
The Dare 125 was previously showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo. Back then, the scooter was revealed as a concept model. The scooter will be built from the ground up by Hero MotoCorp at its Gurgaon facility. Hero MotoCorp wants to enter the 125cc scooter as soon as possible.
Currently, the segment leader of 125cc scooters is Honda's Activa 125. Dare 125 will be Hero MotoCorp's first 125cc scooter in the Indian market. Expect the Indian manufacturer to exploit this platform and introduce several models using the 125cc engine.
Based on the concept, expect Dare 125 scooter to be extremely stylish and unique compared to competitors. Hero MotoCorp will also equip its 125cc scooter with several features, thus providing an unique buying proposition.
Hero MotoCorp is expected to launch the Dare 125 in the Indian market by mid-2016. The 125cc scooter by Hero will compete with the likes of Honda Activa 125, Mahindra Gusto 125, Suzuki Access 125, Suzuki Swish 125, Vespa VXL 125, and Vespa SXL 125.
