2016 Auto Expo: Benelli Tornado 302 Whirls Into India

Benelli has unveiled its entry-level fully faired sports bike, the Tornado 302 in India at the 2016 Auto Expo. The Tornado 302 is the fully faired variant of Benelli's naked bike the TNT 300.

Suspension & Brakes

The Benelli Tornado 302 features 41mm upside down forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. The front features 260mm twin disc brakes while the rear wheel features a 240mm single disc brake.
Both the wheels are 17 inches in diameter and are shod with 110 section Metzeler 110 section tyres at the front and 150 section tyres for the rear.   


The Tornado 302 features a fully faired design. The twin headlamps up front blend in quite well with the fairing. The double barrel exhaust looks quite sharp and is one of the standout features of the bike and can be quite loud when the bike fires up.

Pricing & Competition

The Benelli Tornado 302 is expected to be priced somewhere around Rs. 3 lakhs when it arrives in India later this year. The main rivals for the Tornado 302 include the KTM RC 390 and the Kawasaki Ninja 300.
