Renault Poses challenge To Swift With Pulse
The diesel hatch race gets hotter this new year with the launch of the new Renault Pulse today at the 2012 Delhi auto Expo. The new Pulse is Renault's cheapest car in India and will be on sale in showrooms from today itself and not surprisingly the French carmaker has only launched a diesel version.

The Renault Pulse's launch in India was a much anticipated event at the Auto Expo after it was previewed at the first Indian Formula 1 Grand Prix. The Pulse was described as a clone of the Nissan Micra as most of the design features were similar. The engine specifications that were announced then also made it clear that the Pulse could only be a rebranded Micra.
The technical specifications which were released today suggest there are some notable differences between the Renault Pulse and the Nissan Micra. Renault has strived to add several user friendly features to the Pulse such as key less entry, automatic climate control, rear defogger, engine stop/start button and leather covered steering wheel.
