Maruti Suzuki XA Alpha Concept's Future Plans

The carmaker has not yet announced if a production version will be made. It has only said it would like to assess the media as well as the public's response before making a decision. The possibility of seeing the XA Alpha in a production version is higher considering the fact that the SUV segment now consists of 15 per cent of the total market and Maruti Suzuki does not have a single SUV in its stables.

With SUV manufacturers like Mahindra and Mahindra making huge in roads Maruti will surely like to make a dash at the SUV sector.
