Smart ForJeremy 'Winged Car' Goes Into Production
The very design of Smart ForTwo screams out "mess with me". The tiny city car has so much potential when it comes to experimenting with the design. The one you see here is an apt example, though, its clear the design is not for everyone.
The Smart ForJeremy is the creation of an American fashion designer (that explains the ‘angel wings') named Jeremy Scott. The car made its first appearance at the 2012 LA Auto Show, where is looked even more extravagant. A slightly toned down version of the ForJeremy is now set to go into production.

Smart ForJeremy is the result of a collaboration between Mercedes-Benz Cars Advanced Design Studios and fashion designer Jeremy Scott. The highlight of the car, without saying, are the faux wings sprouting out of the rear.

Speaking about his creation Jeremy Scott says, "I wanted to design something out of the ordinary, something that expressed my dreams and fantasies and that transferred my fashion ideas to automotive design. I see myself driving this car and can well imagine my friends and cool people all over the world loving the unique design of this smart."

This is how the car originally looked as a concept. The larger wings actually lit up when the brakes were applied. Also, note the larger, anything but subtle, five spoked wheels.

The production version has had its wheels trimmed down and it no longer lights up. The wheels are now regular 16"/17" Monoblock alloy wheels, that come in polar white colour in BRABUS drivetrain variants.

The interior is mostly white, with diamond stitching. Leather covers the seats, steering wheels and gear knob.
