Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe Concept Sketches Out, Frankfurt Debut
Soon after sketches of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class coupe concept got leaked on the internet, the automaker has come out with an official image and the revelation that the said car in concept form will indeed debut at the Frankfurt Auto Show next week.
The S Class coupe concept will be a successor to the current CL-Class coupe and is likely to inherit some of the technology and features from the S-Class limo. In terms of design though, the coupe looks nothing like the sedan.

The sketches show a rather stretched out coupe, with a backwards sloping, aerodynamic roofline. The side profile of the concept reminds you immediately of the SLS AMG rather than the S-Class sedan. The front is no different. The concept already has hints of it having been worked on by AMG. It's aggressive and muscular as against sleek and elegant.

We'll not have to wait too long for details about the S Class coupe concept. The car is most likely going to be powered by a V8 or a V12 engine. A more powerful AMG variant will definitely follow suit. We could even get a hybrid variant at a later point in time. Stay tuned for more details.
