Lexus LF-NX Crossover Concept Heads To Frankfurt
The crossover segment is definitely making an impact on literally every manufacturer. Regardless of whether it is a luxury automaker or a mass consumption car maker.
Proof of fact are the new crossovers that are headed to Frankfurt. First is the upcoming GLA Class from Mercedes, Jaguar C-X17 Concept and now, Toyota's premium brand Lexus, which until now had only landed with saloon and coupe concepts at auto shows. It's now trying its hands with the LF-NX crossover concept.

Lexus LF-NX Crossover concept design is based on the brand's 'Human Oriented' L-finesse design concept. In typical Lexus style the design incorporates unconventional and aggressive sharp lines in its body, instead of smooth flowing curves

Done in Brushed Metal Silver exterior paint, the crossover concept wears the unique Lexus spindle grille. But its the unconventionally large brake pad air intakes that catches the attention.

Lexus says the crossover concept incorporates its Hybrid Drive system which has been tuned to perform in a SUV platform.

"The rear features highly articulated lamp clusters. They are detailed to project downwards to the full depth of the bumper, creating a sharp, aerodynamic trailing edge to the vehicle which mirrors the front wing detailing."

The interior looks contemporary, with the combined use of metal and Sunrise Yellow / Black leather upholstery. The concept also showcases Lexus's touch-sensitive electrostatic switches, and a new touch pad Remote Touch Interface (RTI) design.
