Kia Niro Concept Crossover Images Revealed
Remember the Nissan Juke rivalling crossover concept that Kia teased earlier this month? That concept now has a name and has been revealed with a full set of images. But nothing more than that.
The South Korean automaker will reveal its B-segment concept car at the 65th Frankfurt Auto Show, which is on September 10th. There is not much to go on with currently as Kia has withheld all information, but go ahead and view the new images.

The Niro concept has been developed keeping in mind only European customer. Hence, the design work was done in Europe.

Kia designed the Niro concept at its European design center, located in Frankfurt, just a kilometer from Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung, the convention center where the autoshow takes place.

The design team was headed by Gregory Guillaume, Kia's Chief Designer for Europe.

In Kia's own words, "Niro combines a mischievous character in a clearly robust and substantial yet stylish body shape featuring a mix of contrasting materials."

Kia says Niro features intriguing elements which are not usually associated with compact cars.

Niro's sole purpose is to gauge potential European customer response based on which future production models will be developed.

A few highlights that are clear by looking at the images are the scissor doors, moulded seats, futuristic interiors, LED lights aplenty and a certainty that production Kia this good looking will not be a reality.
