Hyundai “Equus by Hermes” Limo Debuts At Seoul
Hyundai, in association with French fashion and lifestyle product company Hermes has developed a special edition limousine based on the 2012 model Equus sedan. Called "Equus by Hermes" the special edition limo has been styled and accessorised by Hermes.
Only three "Equus by Hermes" have been built, but Hyundai does not intend to sell any of them. The only purpose the car serves is to build Hyundai's brand name. Check out "Equus by Hermes" at the Seoul Motor Show, in the gallery, where it was launched.

This long wheelbase Equus has been completely hand built by Hermes and features several luxury additions both on the outside and in the cabin.

This ultra luxurious car took two years to design and develop says Hyundai. More than 20 items were exclusively made by Hermes designers to be used in the car.

As is to be expected the entire interior is covered in leather, but not just of one kind, but several. For example, the door panels have been lined with the same sort of crocodile leather that Hermes uses to make its handbags.

The center console looks high tech and according to Hyundai, was designed after aircraft interiors. The spacious rear seating area comes equipped with a folding table, four cup holders, a bottle holder and a large storage space.
