Honda Unveils Jazz Based SUV In Detroit

Honda has unveiled a new SUV based on the Jazz named only as the Urban SUV. The new concept SUV was unveiled at the ongoing 2012 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. It appears that the Urban SUV concept will soon be a full fledged production vehicle,

The Honda Urban SUV concept could take on upcoming compact SUVs such as the Ford EcoSport, Renault Duster, Chevrolet Trax, Peugeot 2008 and other models in the same league. The Urban Concept does not fit in to the Compact SUV segment as it is 4.3 metres long. But if Honda does a bit of shrinking, it can have a compact SUV that will also attract lesser excise tax too.

The Honda Urban SUV appears to be a smaller version of the CRV from the side profile. Its sharp coupe like roof line is attractive. So is the LED front headlines.
