At the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este 2013 that took place last weekend in Italy BMW revealed the Gran Lusso V12 Coupe. The Gran Lusso V12 Coupe is the product of BMW's first collaboration with the Italian design firm Pininfarina. During last year's event the Bavarian automaker had partnered with Zagato, resulting in the BMW Z4 Zagato Coupe.

BMW Pininfarina Gran Lusso V12 Coupe is a one-off which BMW says is an "exclusive interpretation of a luxurious BMW Coupé as seen through the eyes of Pininfarina." The elegant and luxurious Gran Lusso V12 Coupe clearly displays the heritage of BMW, while showcasing Pininfarina's dynamic design.

This long wheelbase ultra luxurious coupe gets the 6.0 liter V12 turbo engine from the 7 Series, along with its platform, but this could very well be a glimpse of a future BMW 8-Series. A possible future rival to the Bentley. The exterior design could be praised with many adjectives, but let your own eyes be the proof. To give a sense of the richness and exclusivity here is a small description of the interior.

With ample space for four, the interiors are covered in Foglizzo leather and a very rare, 48,000-year-old kauri wood sourced from New Zealand. The roof is meanwhile lined with wool and the carpet is thick and and deep, sumptuous to the feet. Lastly, allowing extra light into the interior is an oblong aperture in the roof liner which is additionally illuminated by white LEDs..
