Lexus IS DeviantART SEMA Design Concept By Rob Evans
Last month Lexus started a design competition in association with online design community DeviantART. The purpose of the competition was bring out a winning custom concept design based on the 2014 Lexus IS sports sedan.
The competition is now over and a victor has emerged. Based on the winning design an actual car will now be built and showcased at the 2013 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas, which will be held in November.

This is the winning design, rendered by Rob Evans from Seattle, Washington. His efforts and talent will be rewarded with $2,000 cash prize, 8,000 deviantART points and a one year premium membership to deviantART. But the best part would be this. Evans will get to keep a 2014 Lexus IS F SPORT for one whole year.

This design was done by the 1st runner up Lucia Lee of Pasadena, California. Cash prize of $1,500 and the rest of the rewards, apart from the one year free ride in a 2014 Lexus IS F SPORT.

In third place is Guanghao Huang of Southfield, Michigan. The cash prize remains the same, along with a few other deviantART rewards.

The remaining 25 semi-finalists will be given a Lexus slim master hardcover notebook each as well as a few other deviantART benefits.

The actual car, based on the concept design will be built by custom car builders VIP Auto Salon in time for SEMA, which would mean the build must be already underway.
