Jaguar F-Type has been headlining blogs and the internet for quite sometime. Jaguar has finally revealed the much anticipated Jaguar F-Type ahead of the Paris Motor Show. So is this a real sports car from Jaguar and does the F-Type has enough to take on the likes of Ferrari and Porsche?
What is your initial impression from the below images. Impressed or is it just another sports car? The F-type from Jaguar encourages only a two seat affair. The F-Type comes in an all new aluminium construction and is available in three trims F-Type, F-Type S and F-Type V8 S.
Jaguar's new F-Type 2 seater convertible is a handsome design with finessed performance.
The F-type will be availble in three variants -the F-TYPE, F-TYPE S and the F-TYPE V8 S.
The entry level F-Type will be powered by anew 3.0-litre V6 supercharged petrol engine. The mid-variant F-TYPE S will also use the same engine.
The top spec of the Jaguar F-Type V8 S is powered by a Jaguar5.0-litre supercharged engine.
The 3.0 litre engine produces340 horsepower on the F-TYPE and 380 horsepower on the F-TYPE S. The 5.0 litre superchared petrol engine produces 495 horsepower.
Jaguar has equipped the F-TYPE with an eight-speed auto with a joystick-shaped SportShift in the center console and paddle-shifters.
The F-TYPE getsBi-xenon headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights.
The estimated price of this Jag is more than a crore Indian rupees!

The F-Type and F-Type S is powered by a new 3.0-litre supercharged V6 engine. This engine is capable of producing 340 horsepower and 380 horsepower respectively. On the speed chart it is said that the F-Type clocks around 260 kph and the F-Type S around 275 kph.
When it comes down to the F-Type V8 S, Jaguar decided to give it a a new 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine. This engine is capable of producing 495 horsepower and 460 pound feet of torque. On the speed chart the F-Type V8 S clocks around 300 kph.
