Next Generation Volkswagen Golf Hatchback
Volkswagen has showcased the seventh generation Golf at the ongoing Paris Motor Show. Volkswagen is said to bring this global hatchback to India by 2014. We take a quick look at its offering. A quick look at the seventh generation of the Golf and you realize that Volkswagen has given the boring hatchback some attention.
Here are a few images of the Golf hatchback captured from the Paris Motor show. You will be quick to notice that the tail lamps look very similar to the Volkswagen Passat. One of the striking features that caught our attention is the dual exhaust pipes on one side giving it a more sporty look.

This is the seventh generation Volkswagen Golf which is expected to hit India by 2014.

The old outdated design of the Golf has been uplifted with new headlamps.

The rear tail light of the seventh generation Golf looks very similar to the Volkswagen Passat.

The Seventh generation Golf has been developed on the MQB platform and will be offered in petrol and diesel engines.
The seventh generation Golf has been developed on the new MQB platform. Moreover the Golf lightweight, high-strength steel in droves.
The Golf will be offered in petrol and diesel engines. The petrol offering will come in the form of 1.2-litre TSI 84 horsepower and a 1.4-litre TSI 138 horsepower. The diesel on the other hand, will be offered in a 1.6 litre 104 horsepower and 2.0 litre 148 horsepower.
