2012 Los Angeles Auto Show – Debuts
The Los Angeles Auto Show has emerged as one of the most happening auto show in the North American continent. The 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show will open on November 30 and auto enthusiasts from across the globe will home in on to the show to witness the debuts of several new cars.
With the LA Auto Show being the last among the major car shows in the callender year, carmakers are making every effort to grab the eye balls of people with their interesting new car.
The 2012 LA Auto Show is expected to see the unveiling of more than 40 new cars and concept vehicles. While some names of the new arrivals have already been made public, some carmakers have maintained more than a touch of secrecy around their upcoming launches at the 2012 LA Auto Show.
Some of the new cars to be launched during the 2012 LA Auto Show are being unveiled for the first time. However there are some cars that are having their North American debut during the event. Here are some of the new cars to be unveiled and launched during the 2012 LA Auto Show.
Honda Acura RLX
The RLX is the flagship model of Honda's premium brand Acura. It replaces the current Acura RL and will be sold from early next year.
BMW X1 Limited Edition
The limited edition BMW X1 is a result of BMW working with K2. The new car will be launched in the US market this month.
Chevrolet Spark EV
The Chevrolet Spark EV will be the first fully electric car to be sold by General Motors. The Spark (called Beat in India) is almost double the price of a petrol powered Spark.
Fiat 500E
Fiat is adding an electric motor to its iconic small car. The Fiat 500e will have a range of 160 kilometres per charge.
New Hyundai Santa Fe
Hyundai is set to unveil the latest generation Santa Fe SUV. Hyundai's fluidic design coupled with increased powertrain options are expected in the new Santa Fe.
New Honda Civic
The new Honda Civic's American debut will happen at the LA Auto Show.
