Four New Variants Of Mahindra Mojo To Be Launched In India Soon
Four new variants based on Mahindra Mojo will be launched in India soon. A cruiser, adventure, cafe racer, and basic version of Mahindra Mojo are likely to be introduced to gain new customers.
Mahindra Two Wheelers recently confirmed their future plan to us. The Indian-based two-wheeler manufacturer plans on expanding the Mojo platform. It is now confirmed that the Mojo platform will be used to spawn four new models.
The Mahindra Mojo platform is likely to be utilised for an adventure model initially. Second model could be a Cafe Racer inspired two-wheeler. Both these models will share maximum parts with standard Mojo, thus, enabling Mahindra to price the new models aggressively.
Also on the cards could be a Mahindra Mojo inspired cruiser motorcycle. Mahindra is also likely to introduce a bare-boned version of the standard Mojo. The new model will be an entry-level offering by Mahindra which would attract new buyers and will join an all-new segment.
All four variants are likely to utilise the existing Mojo engine is various tunes suiting their role. Currently, Mahindra Mojo utilises a 295cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
So far, Mahindra has not promised a timeframe, as to when any of these models would launch. They have confirmed that development on all four Mojo variants has commenced. We expect that new variants could be launched within the following two years in the Indian market.
