Irish Reporter Gets Flattened By Speeding Stop Sign During Storm - Video
Stop signs are there to tell you to come to a halt at an intersection or any other section of the road.
Unfortunately for Irish reporter Teresa Mannion, a stop sign did bring her report for RTE News on Storm Desmond to a rather sudden halt. Mannion was giving a report on unsafe road conditons as Storm Desmond raged all around her. She told RTE News viewers — "Don't make unnecessary journeys! Don't take risks on treacherous roads!"
However, just as she was wrapping up her report a STOP sign updrooted by the storm came and smashed into her face and brought her report to an abrupt halt.
Mannnion survived the freaky accident and has become an internet phenomenon. She later tweeted out her thanks.
