Upcoming Car Launches In The 2nd Half Of 2016
India has already witnessed impressive car launches which included Maruti's Vitara Brezza, Tata Tiago, and the amazing Toyota Innova Crysta. Luxury cars too made their impression with the Bentley Bentayga, Jaguar XE, and the Skoda Superb.
The second half of 2016 looks exciting too, raising the tempo with car enthusiasts. Read on to find the list of the cars to be launched in the coming days.
2016 Audi A4
The lighter and larger new generation Audi A4 will be launched in India with better creature comforts and features. Audi will power the 2016 A4 with the same 2.0-litre diesel engine and the motor is expected to produce 190bhp and will be manufactured in India.

Audi will include the 1.4-litre TSI turbo petrol unit which will churn out 150bhp of power and a possibility of 2.0-litre TSI unit as well. The old A4 was mated to a CVT gearbox which will make way for the 7-speed Dual Clutch Gearbox, it will also come with the 5-speed manual gearbox.

Hyundai Tucson
Hyundai has been quiet for the first half of 2016, however, they will launch the Tucson, the third generation model. The Hyundai Tucson will sport the Fluidic Structure 2.0 design language and will be positioned above the Creta and below the Santa Fe.

The Hyundai Tucson is the smaller version of the Santa Fe and will be powered by diesel and petrol engine. The petrol unit is expected to be the new 1.4-litre T-GDI turbocharged.

Hyundai Elantra
Hyundai will continue with launches and next up will be the premium Elantra. The all-new Elantra is based on a new platform and looks more of a coupe than the usual Fluidic Structure 2.0 design Hyundai has been following.

Audi SQ7
Audi will launch its powerful SUV, and it will look to rival the Mercedes in India with SQ7, a high-performance SUV which is powered by a new 4.0-litre twin turbo V8 diesel unit which will churn out a massive 435bhp and torque of 900Nm.

Some of the unique features of the SQ7 are the electric compressor designed to complement the twin-turbochargers by increasing the flow of air in the induction system. The SQ7 goes from 0-100 in 4.8 seconds. Also, it will get active roll bars we see in the Bentley Bentayga.

Jeep will make its debut in India with the launch of the Grand Cherokee. It will launch two models of the Cherokee, the first being the standard Grand Cherokee powered by a 3.0-litre diesel engine which develops 240bhp mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

Jeep will bring the Grand Cherokee SRT to India, the SRT is the performance brand of Jeep. The visual changes include a lot of black elements in the headlamps, front profile, black SRT alloy wheels.

Maruti Suzuki Ignis
The Ignis will create a new segment altogether; the model is a hatchback but with characteristics of an SUV. It will be positioned below the Swift and the Baleno, it carries a modern and retro look.

Nissan X-Trail Hybrid
Nissan is all set to launch India's first fully hybrid SUV, the X-Trail. The old X-Trail was powered by a diesel engine; however, the new X-Trail Hybrid will come in the combination of petrol and hybrid.
The petrol unit will be a 2.0-litre engine which will be paired to an electric motor which will produce 115bhp from the petrol unit and 40bhp from the electric motor.

Tata Hexa
With the Aria not tasting success by Tata, they have gone back to the drawing board to bring the Aria in a different avatar. The design is promising for Tata and it has taken all the feedbacks positively. The design of the Hexa looks butch and angular and very much in trend.
