Damien Walters Backflips Over Formula E Race Car At 97 Km/h

Formula E is currently in its second season and is growing in popularity by every race. Now, Damien Walters, a stuntman along with Alistair Whitton, a stunt driver have performed a phenomenal stunt. You have to see it to believe what these two daredevils have come up with.

The stunt is very rightly called the 'Leap Of Faith' and should not be attempted. In recent times, we have seen several individuals jumping over a running vehicle. Now Damien Walters decides that he can perform a backflip over a speeding Formula E vehicle.

Damien Walters has performed stunts in movies like Skyfall and Assassin's Creed. Alistair Whitton, on the other hand, has performed stunts in movies like Jason Bourne, Skyfall, The Dark Knight, and Dark Knight Rises. The backflip over a Formula E car was performed at Mexico City.

Alistair Whitton was driving the Formula E car at a constant speed of 97 km/h. Damien Walters had only one reference which was a digital display clock. He had to jump precisely at 6.6 seconds when the Formula E car takes off. Too early and he would hit the car, too late and the car would hit him.
