Koenigsegg To Develop 4-Door Supercar In Coming Five Years
Swedish supercar manufacturer Koenigsegg has been developing class-leading products. They have showcased and developed vehicles with phenomenal power as well as out of this world looks. Now, Koenigsegg has confirmed that it will develop a 4-door supercar in the next five years.
The 4-door supercar segment is an ever growing market in today's time. More and more manufacturers are exploring this segment with these products. Currently the Sweden-based manufacturer has built only two seater supercars and hypercars.
At the ongoing 2015 Geneva Motor Show, which is being held from 5th to 15th March, 2015 Koenigsegg showcased two new supercars. During the global debut of Agera RS and Regera models the Swedish manufacturer promised to introduce more vehicles in the following years.
Christian von Koenigsegg has also confirmed that it would not set foot in the road car segment. The Swedish manufacturer does not want to introduce a product that will take on the likes of Porsche 911 and Ferrari 488. They will, however, introduce a more affordable supercar in the coming years.
Currently the Swedish manufacturer offers three models for its customers to choose from. These include the popular One:1 supercar and the newly launched Agera RS and Regera supercars. Both these vehicles from Koenigsegg feature revolutionary engines with technology never before seen in other supercars.
