China To Concentrate On All Electric Automobiles For Next Five Years
China is looking at concentrating on the production of all electric vehicles and hybrids for the next five years. China is looking to have one million electric vehicles on road by 2020.
Apart from having one million vehicles, Chinese authorities want a further 2 million electric vehicles on road by 2025. Authorities also want 10 percent of these vehicles to be exported.
China is also concentrating on making ‘connected' vehicles, along with its target of building electric automobiles.
China originally had a plan of building more vehicles. The previous target was to have 5 million electric vehicles by 2020.
Along with electric vehicles, China is ready to produce more ‘connected' vehicles and work intensely to develop autonomous technology too.
