Tata Partner With Microlise For Telematics & Fleet Management
India's automobile giant Tata Motors is on a mission of global expansion and plans to increase its presence. They have partnered with several international companies to enter new markets. They have now decided to partner with Europe's leading Telematics and Fleet Management Service, Microlise.
Tata Motors and Microlise have agreed to work together for a period of five years to begin with. They both will strive to improve Fleet Management services. They will improve the reliability, quality and range of India's Transport Industry.
Ravi Pisharody, Executive Director Commercial Vehicles Business Unit, Tata Motors, commented, "As the leading commercial vehicle manufacturer in India, we have been spearheading the change in the Indian Transport Industry for many years now."
He further added, "Tata FleetMan's partnership with Microlise is a step in that direction. We firmly believe that this association has the potential to transform the way commercial vehicle fleets are managed in India."

The partnership plans to introduce Fleet Telematics like Emergency SOS, Trip Management, Driving Assessment and Vehicle health management. All these are expected to improve the experience for fleet owners and vehicle drivers.
Nadeem Raza, Managing Director, Microlise Ltd. expressed, "Microlise is extremely proud and excited to be working with Tata Motors. The new Tata FleetMan system will be based on the market leading Microlise platform that is currently installed in over 150,000 vehicles around the world and used by some of the biggest transport and logistics companies like DHL, Tesco and Carrefour for significant cost savings and efficiency improvements."
MIcrolise is among the leaders of transport management systems provider from UK. They offer journey management, proof of delivery and fleet performance. The UK-based company is relatively new and has been present for the past 30 years.
